DIMENSION34

Dimension34 started in the early 2006 with Karl, Jon, Göran and Jimmy. Karl had a bunch of songs already, so after Tom "The Drum Machine" Åsvold joined the band, they rehearsed the songs a couple of times before they went to Studio Fredman and recorded the first album "The Release of Me". The album became "Demo of the month" in Close-up Magazine #88 that year.

In 2007 nothing really happened. Dimension34 played its first live act at Storsjöyran that year, the only one actually. Timo Hautamäki also joined the band for the Storsjöyran gig. On the recorded album all the keyboards were programmed and the band needed something more alive.

Jimmy Striem left as bass player in 2008, the reason is still uncertain and the members have never spoken of Jimmy since that day. The new bass player was Max Carlberg from Aeon. There was a couple of live preformances that year, but the rest of the year was all about writing songs for the new album.

Tom left the band after recording the drums to go to USA and Los Angeles. There he will become even better at the Musicians Institute.
