09/03/2011 - "This is a truly a sad day for PYRAMAZE", - by these words Jonah Weingarten (keyboards) started his message (February 10, 2011) about Michael and Niels announcing their departure. Michael Kammeyer created the band in 2002. According to Michael himself the band has been a very important part of his life for the last 8-9 years.

"I feel the time has come to stop my journey with Pyramaze", - said he and recognized that this decision is the most difficult of his life. "You will both be missed", - Jonah recognized, and he also says, that Pyramaze stands for something rare in the music industry for him. But Pyramaze will carry forth. "I would hereby like to announce that my performance and writing input on our forthcoming album is dedicated to you, Michael and Niels" - said Jonah Weingarten at the Official Band Site.
