A very hard thing to answer, as I have a billion. The top 5 would have to be: Symphony X, Nevermore, Dream Theater, Blind Guardian and Metallica. Anyway, I listen to all metal, apart from the death and black stuff, which seem too weird for my taste.

My Musical Career:
I began singing back in ’89, when these friends of mine in my youth club were playing some cover songs in the basement rehearsal room ( I think it was more of smoking joints than playing music, hehe). Well, I just grabbed the mike, and began screaming my lungs out (I couldn’t sing at all). It happened, that we agreed upon me trying out the vocal spot, and I immediately began taking some singing lessons. The music was more or less rock n’ roll a la D:A:D, The Cult, The Black Crowes, Led Zeppelin etc., but it was fun, and in the 3 year period of that band, I got the stage experience that helps me to be cool and calm on stage today! The band broke up in ’92 and I began singing in a band called Fear Itself (where Kristian also played). That band lasted 4 years, and in those 4 years I actually learned how to sing, and also developed the style that I have. And so, in ’96 as we broke up, Kristian and I found Mads…and the rest is history… :-)

HYPERION / THE FALL OF HYPERION / ENDYMION / THE RISE OF ENDYMION by American author Dan Simmons. No doubt about it: These 4 novels as one, is the best book I have ever read. And it’s also the book I have read the most times (6).!!!!!!

My Musical Career:
I started playing guitar when I was eight years old. Back then it was on my fathers spanish guitar. After a few years of irrelevant noise on the poor thing I began real guitar lessons. It lasted six months ......... I got bored because I knew what I wanted to do (and spanish gutar was not it ). I wanted to play Heavy Metal music on an electric guitar and I learned everything by myself, starting from scratch. I soon found out that I was good at creating music, all my weird ideas that roamed in my head suddenly became real in our rehearsal room. Now, several years later, I play rythm guitar in Manticora and I consider myself as a professional.

My Musical Career:
Some how I've always wanted to play music, and I've tried all kinds of instruments, but in school we were only 3 musicians so I ended up with the drums, and I kind of got stuck with them. I would rather play some kind of melody instrument like guitar or piano so I could get all my ideas out the way I want it to sound, but believe me, I know now that I should stay as far away from any other instrument than drums as I suck big time no matter what I try.

My Musical Career:
Actually I started playing the drums when I was 6 years old, and I eagerly wanted to play the drums in a band at our local club which was counting several of my friends, including Martin, whom I still play together with in Manticora today!! The problem was just that they already had a drummer, so I was asked if I minded playing the bass instead, and as You might figured out……..I gave it a shot! Since then (that must be back in 1988) I have just grown with the task, and today I actually feel pretty happy about having chosen playing the bass, because there is always something to do, as you may know bass players are a minority.

My Musical Career:
Started playing the Guitar, when I was 10 years old. Got an acoustic Guitar, from my grandfather, and simply couldn't let go of it. Got in to Heavy Metal, a couple of years later, and then discovered Y.M. and was so fascinated by his playing. From that moment, I realized that this was it for me, and have been ever since.
I have always been facinated by the instrument, and used to run arround the house, when I was a kid, playing a racquet as a guitar. So the guitar has always been a part of my life in some way or another.
